The Original Three
Tog’tar Blooddamned
“What use is wealth if it cannot buy immortality? How, you ask, well one must only turn to music and stories and all that they bring. Pay bards to sing songs of your victories, and authors to write the tales of your life. Then, well, then you can live forever. Only then I can rest, knowing that I will not be forgotten tomorrow, or tomorrow’s tomorrow… On and on until no one is left to hear the music of life.”
Although history now only really remembers the fierce and dangerous tales of Tog’tar Blooddamned, it is but a fraction of who he really was. Hidden in restricted sections of the grand library of Riggen, there are songs of laughter and joy, of love and loss, of a man who lived life to the extremes of all emotions just so he could say he knew it all. Truly a creative man, he founded the College of Music to try to make sure that the stories of his people would never be forgotten. Granted, he mainly sought this ‘immortality' for himself, but saw no issue with other legendary pirates joining him in song. Unfortunately, this side of Tog’tar has been hidden by his ancestors in fear that it would make them seem weak and damage their ability to lead their people. Few do still know his true character, his current ancestor Davin’gor being one of them. Though if someone was to dig deep enough, and sneak into the right restricted archives, they would find it, and his spirit would rejoice with the strength of a thousand voices. He was loved by many, but equally feared, having led many battles against enemy fleets. He was instrumental in the Conglomerate’s more secretive policies on ‘sinking the competition’ and thus is largely responsible for their current dominance over the waves.
